Andrew Ford

Economic Equity Officer

Expect More leader, impact-investing expert, and policy disruption pioneer

As economic equity officer at the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation, Andrew Ford leads the Foundation’s strategies to ensure all Arkansans, regardless of background and circumstance, have the education and skills to earn family-supporting wages and build generational wealth.

Andrew brings nearly a decade of experience in transforming policies and programs to create better outcomes for Arkansas children and families with expertise in early childhood and K-12 education policy, place-based strategies, and impact investing.

Prior to joining the Foundation in July 2012, Andrew was a grant writer for Southern Bancorp, one of the nation’s largest rural Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI). During his tenure at Southern Bancorp, Andrew leveraged public and private funding for rural communities in the Delta and southern Arkansas.

In 2014, he was selected as a Hull Fellow with the Southeastern Council of Foundations. Andrew currently serves on the Rural LISC Advisory Committee. He earned his BA in Business Administration and Political Science from Ouachita Baptist University and MS in Community and Economic Development from the University of Central Arkansas.

When not spending time with family and friends (or his sweet dog PJ), Andrew can be found at the movies, gym, or restaurants of Little Rock.
