Lisa Dixon
Former Organizational Effectiveness Associate (until Oct. 2019)
Board whisperer, process improver, schedule smart one, and Appreciative Inquiry organizer
Lisa threads the needle across the organization as the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation and its partners relentlessly pursue equity for all Arkansans. She manages strategic initiatives, directly supports the Senior Leadership Team, and maintains the Foundation’s continuous learning.
Before joining the Foundation in March of 2016, Lisa was the Africa program manager at Heifer International where she worked for 13 years supporting development work in sub-Saharan Africa. Her professional experience includes over 20 years of human resources, grants management, and office administration in the nonprofit sector.
If you were trapped on a deserted island, you would want Lisa to be with you. In addition to being a project planning and management extraordinaire, she has travelled extensively and knows everything she and her team need to survive.
“In time, you’ll see that not only can your contribution of time and energy make a difference, it will also have ripple effects that make Arkansas a state where our children and grandchildren thrive.”
