In January 2024, we launched the StARshine Narrative & Media Collaborative, a groundbreaking initiative designed to fortify Arkansas’s nonprofit media and journalism ecosystem. This effort builds on our long-standing commitment to independent journalism that informs, empowers, and elevates ALICE communities—those who are Asset Limited, Income Constrained, and Employed.

The partnership includes six local nonprofit radio stations and newsrooms and 2 independent/spanish-speaking journalists alongside a national/regional distribution network, ensuring that ALICE stories and policies reach broader audiences with greater impact.
